I'd like to thank you on behalf of Mid Yorkshire Misfits for a really enjoyable and great value trip. The hotel was excellent; really helpful staff at all times, very clean and comfortable accommodation, quality breakfasts to start the day, great facilities and above all excellent golf courses in mint condition; particularly St Annes Old Links; this picturesqe course impressed all the society members; who were looking forward to playing a links course. It didn't disappoint. Your idea to delay the trip by a week was a masterplan to deliver the fabulous weather. Don't forget to let me have details of other package options that we can review and consider for future reference. I've enclosed a final snapshot of the group taken on the final day, after our presentation ceremony, on the patio overlooking the 1st tee at Fairhaven. Played at Staining Lodge which although quite new was very nice and quite challenging. Clubhouse and patio area excellent and food very good and value for money.

Pat, Just a quick thank you for booking the courses and hotel for last weekend.

The greens at Herons Reach were exceptional, so much so I cleaned up with 40 points (play off 6), longest drive and nearest pin. This resulted in a three shot handicap reduction for Lytham Green Drive. Managed 34 points, missing trophy by one point.

Due to our late arrival at the Lindum, we did not make it into Blackpool itself. But this was more than made up for by obtaining an outside table for twelve at the Olive Tree Brasserie in nearby Wood Street. Excellent food.

Everybody not only enjoyed the choice of course but also the quaility of the layouts and greens.

Due to a junior competition playing behind us on Sunday, I was able to talk to Paul Eales, former European tour pro who was watching his son play.

A number of the party said that they would like to return at some point in the future to try out Fairhaven and the Old Links.

Hi Pat, many thanks for all your help,after the downpour at The Old Links, the weather was perfect, the hotel was very good, and the golf buggy was ready and waiting at Lytham Green Drive, and the all day breakfast at Fairhaven was voted the best we have ever had.
